Millburn is a south facing cottage situated a few metres from the shore on the north side of Mid Yell Voe on the island of Yell in the Shetland Islands.

Location

The cottage is approximately one and a half hours from Lerwick  and two and a half from Sumburgh Airport by car and ferry. The transport infrastructure in the Shetland Islands is excellent. http://visit.shetland.org/public-transport

Millburn is less than 10 minutes by car from Mid Yell where there is  the HIllshop general store and L J's Diner, Yell Leisure Centre with indoor pool, http://www.srt.org.uk/yell Mid Yell Health Centre and Dental Practice and a bar at Mid Yell Boating Club. 
There are three other general stores on Yell at Aywick, Cullivoe and next to the ferry terminal at Ulsta where you can also buy petrol. 

There is a bus stop three minutes walk from the house from where you can catch buses to mainland Shetland.
